Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire is encouraged. Think Derby flair meets spring cocktail chic.

Bold colors. Statement hats. Florals. Seersucker. A little drama never hurt anybody.

This is your moment to lean in — the more festive, the better.

Is there parking?

Yes! We always encourage rideshare when possible.

If you choose to drive, valet will be available upon arrival.

There is also free street parking along American Royal Drive.

Are kids welcome?

As much as we adore your little ones, this is an adults-only evening.

Consider it a night out for a great cause!

How do the races work?

A raffle experience available to all attendees ensures there’s plenty of camaraderie and energy tied to the races—whether you’re playing big or just in it for the fun.

We’re thrilled to unveil this year’s raffle prizes at the event… you might find yourself headed to one of Kansas City’s biggest sporting events this summer, or going home with a new designer accessory.

A little friendly competition. A lot of impact.

Is there a seated dinner?

This is a cocktail-style celebration with heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks throughout the evening.

Select sponsorship levels include reserved seating. Otherwise, plan to mix, mingle, and enjoy the party atmosphere.

Is the venue accessible?

The venue is fully accessible. Please reach out in advance if you have specific accommodation needs.

What happens if it rains?

The event will take place rain or shine. Covered areas and indoor space will ensure a great experience regardless of weather.

What does the event timeline look like?

3:30 PM – Registration + doors open

5:15 PM – Program begins

~6:00 PM – Derby race broadcast

Following the race – Raffle prizes, continued celebration, and closing out the evening
